01 · QUOTING

A quote that turns into the job

Build it on a phone in the driveway, from a service list you set up once. Optional line items get a checkbox on the customer's copy and update the total live when they tick one.

When they accept, it does not become a PDF in an inbox. It becomes a scheduled job on the dispatch board, with the line items already on it, ready to be invoiced from later.

  • Reusable service items with your prices
  • Optional lines the customer can add
  • Deposits collected on acceptance
  • Notification when a quote is opened

02 · SCHEDULING

A board that knows how far apart things are

Drag a job onto a person and a day. Sawhorse puts the real driving time between consecutive jobs into the day, so a schedule that cannot physically be done looks like it cannot be done.

Recurring work generates its next occurrence when the current one is completed, not on a fixed date — so you never come back from a fortnight off to forty overdue phantom jobs.

  • Drag and drop across people and days
  • Real road travel time between jobs
  • Unassigned rail down the side
  • Keyboard shortcuts for everything

03 · IN THE FIELD

Works in a basement with no signal

The mobile app is offline-first, which in rural Simcoe County is the difference between a tool and a liability. Everything queues locally and syncs when signal returns.

Technicians start a timer, take photos, add notes, capture a signature and take payment. They do not see your margins or anyone else's jobs unless you let them.

  • Full offline capture and queue
  • Photos upload last so nothing blocks
  • Signature capture and card payment
  • Role-based visibility

04 · MONEY

Invoice from the driveway, get paid in 19 days

Mark the job complete and it offers to invoice from the line items already on it. Most people send it before they have left, which is worth about eleven days off the average payment time.

Then it chases for you — polite at 7 days, less so at 30 — and reconciles the payment against the job so job costing stays honest.

  • One tap from complete to invoiced
  • Card and pre-authorised debit
  • Automatic reminders you can reword
  • QuickBooks and Xero two-way sync
