GETTING STARTED
Your first week on Sawhorse
Do not import ten years of history on day one. Start with the jobs you have open right now — usually somewhere between fifteen and forty — and let the archive stay where it is.
Day one: add your team and your service items. Service items are the things you sell repeatedly with a known price, and getting them right now saves you typing them for the next five years.
Day two to four: run every new job through Sawhorse, and keep doing whatever you did before in parallel. Yes, this is doing it twice. It is four days.
Day five: stop doing it the old way. The most common failure we see is a contractor who runs both systems for three months and never fully switches.

If not, email support and a human will reply — usually within an hour during business hours. We do not have a chatbot and we are not planning one.
