Changelog

Everything we ship, including the fixes for things we broke. We release on Tuesdays and never on a Friday.

  1. v4.2FEATURE29 July 2026

    Purchase orders against a job

    • Raise a PO from inside a job and it lands on the job's cost side automatically.
    • Supplier invoices can be matched to an open PO by drag and drop.
    • Partial receipts supported — three of five items arriving no longer breaks the reconciliation.
  2. v4.1FEATURE2 July 2026

    Optional line items on quotes

    • Mark any line as optional and the customer gets a checkbox on their copy.
    • The quote total updates live as they tick, before they accept.
    • Early data: quotes with two or three optional lines accept about 18% higher.
  3. v4.0.3FIX17 June 2026

    Offline photo queue

    • Fixed a case where more than 40 queued photos could stall the sync indefinitely.
    • Photos now upload after status changes rather than before, so a big batch no longer blocks the job updating.
  4. v4.0FEATURE28 May 2026

    The dispatch board, rebuilt

    • Drag and drop across technicians and days, with real travel time between consecutive jobs.
    • Unassigned jobs sit in a rail down the side instead of a separate screen.
    • Keyboard shortcuts throughout — press ? on the board.
    • This replaces the old scheduling screen entirely. The old one is gone.
  5. v3.9IMPROVEMENT14 April 2026

    Faster on old phones

    • Job list rendering is about four times faster on devices more than three years old.
    • App cold start down from 4.2s to 1.6s on a mid-range Android.
    • We test on a 2019 Moto G because that is what is actually in people's vans.

Older releases are in the in-app changelog. Breaking changes get 90 days notice by email and a banner in the product — we have made two in six years and both were unavoidable.
