Basil, thyme, sage, oregano, rosemary, parsley, chives, mint — and mint stays in a pot.

Solanum lycopersicum
Fourteen varieties we grow on the farm here, because they actually ripen in our season.
We don't sell online — plants travel badly and we'd rather you saw what you're buying. Ring 705-555-0126 and we'll hold it at the till for 48 hours.
Every variety on this bench has ripened reliably in an Oro-Medonte field, which rules out a lot of the beautiful things in the seed catalogues. Our season is short and our nights are cold.
Brandywine, Black Krim, Green Zebra, Amish Paste and ten others. Labelled by days-to-maturity so you can work out whether it will finish before frost — anything over 85 days is a gamble here unless you have a tunnel.
Available from the second week of May. Do not put them out before the 24th; we say this every year and every year somebody loses a flat to a late frost.

Basil, thyme, sage, oregano, rosemary, parsley, chives, mint — and mint stays in a pot.

Two plants will feed a household. Three will make you unpopular with your neighbours.
