Ridgeline 45L Pack
Three or four days on the Bruce Trail without the pack becoming the problem.

OUTERWEAR · MADE IN CANADA
Waxed cotton that sheds a Georgian Bay squall and gets better looking as it ages.
Only 4 left in this combination.
Waxed cotton is not as waterproof as a membrane and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What it is, is quiet, breathable, endlessly repairable, and better looking after five years than it was new.
It handles a couple of hours of steady rain and anything a wind off the bay can do. For a full day in a downpour, buy a shell.
Re-wax it every year or two — we sell the tin, and we will do it for you free in the shop if you bought the jacket here. Cotton canvas from a mill in Nova Scotia, made up in Toronto.
“Re-waxed twice, one pocket restitched free. It looks better than the day I bought it.”
“Bought it thinking waterproof. It isn't, and the shop told me so — my fault for not listening. Brilliant otherwise.”
“No swishing. If you're out looking at birds, that matters more than you'd think.”
