Rowan Vestergaard

Rowan started Kestrel Bay in 2014 after eight years with a national brokerage, on the theory that a small office that knows one region well beats a large one that knows everywhere a bit.

Most of the work is rural — acreage, farms, and the kind of one-off house that doesn't have a clean comparable within twenty kilometres. That means valuations take longer here and involve more driving.

Grew up on a hay farm outside Elmvale, which is why the farm listings tend to land on this desk.
