Marguerite is an accredited family mediator and does most of the firm's collaborative work. Before law she worked for six years as a child protection worker, which shapes how she approaches parenting disputes — she has seen what a long court fight does to children who are old enough to notice.
She takes a significant number of support variation and enforcement files, and is the person in the office most likely to talk a client out of a motion they would probably win.
She teaches the family law module in Georgian College's paralegal programme.
